A civil marriage in Lucca is always something very special. This beautiful medieval town is located northeast of Pisa and close to the Tuscan coast. Around the old town you can still see the remarkable 16th century fortifications. Nowadays you make a lovely walk on top of the old city walls under the marvellous big trees.
Guests arrived a little earlier, together with the groom, at one of the four old city gates and then walked through the picturesque alleys to the wedding hall, located in the majestic Palazzo Orsetti.
The bride and groom said yes in the “Sala Verde”. Then the wedding couple congratulated the newlyweds in the romantic garden opposite of the town hall.
The dinner and party took place in a 16th century villa, situated in the hills. Guests enjoyed a welcome aperitif on a large terrace with breathtaking views of the entire region all the way to the sea. Accompanied by the sounds of guitar and saxophone they enjoyed these special, so typically Italian moments.
The super atmospheric Mediterranean garden of the villa with palm trees and beautiful lemon hedge was the ultimate place for the wedding dinner and party. Around the romantic old pond everyone enjoyed a 3-course menu. Then the couple cut the wedding cake. Also between the courses the guests, young and old, danced and celebrated the wedding couple.
They partied so abundantly and in full joy until the early morning hours. It was an unforgettable experience for everyone.
